After retiring from the United States Air Force 1992, and Boy Scouts of America as a District Director in 2009 my career in writing began with my first book Angels on High. As I received inspiration from readers, I then went on to write Angels on High the Challenge and Little Spirit. My books are based on my 4 children, grandchildren and those young people whom I have had the privilege of working with during my time as a Teacher's Assistant, Assistant Program Director, Before and After School Program and Summer Camp assistant director, as well as Counselor for a group home for troubled/abused boys. I believe our lives are influenced by those who we come in contact with no matter how brief. I believe that God is the driving force that inspired me to write. The characters encompass the personalities of those who have influenced my life no matter how brief. Although my stories are fiction by nature, they are based on real life events of my own as a young boy, as well as my observation of others, and stories that were told to me. My education in Organizational Management, courses in Elementary Education and master's courses in Curriculum and Instruction provided me with the knowledge of understanding youth development of all ages. I was told once by a literary college professor that God has a plan for me, and I believe that God has a plan for every one of us, we just have to listen to the whispers of faith and His love.
