Clare Hibbert has written more than 200 information books for children. Her favourite topics are history, animals and art. She has been shortlisted for the Aventis Junior Science Prize, highly commended by the Geographical Association, commended by NASEN and won Practical Pre-School Gold Awards. She lives in Kent, England. Jake McDonald graduated from Brighton University in illustration and now specializes in digital illustration for kids. His work can be found across the globe, on the shelves of shops in Asia, Europe, and the USA. Taking a playful approach to illustration, Jake is inspired by all things storytelling, from board games to Studio Ghibli. His work includes unicorns, monsters, and mermaids, as well as educational illustrations of everything from dinosaurs to rocket ships.
