Born and raised in Missouri, Pete Letterman lived there until he relocated to North Carolina in 2018 in search of a bit warmer weather. Pete, also known as "Bubba" to his grandkids, inherited his love of writing early on from his mother Bernice. Trained as a welder, he also received his Childhood Development Certification because of his love for kids and his desire to play a role in their early childhood teachings. Teaching since the 1970s, Pete has been a welding instructor, Head Start teacher, and Sunday School teacher. His work with teaching kids, though, is the most special to him. In addition, he has also been blessed with many opportunities throughout his life to do a variety of volunteer work with children.A father, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather, Pete is loved by all who meet him. Kids from one to fifty call him "Mr. Pete" with love, adoration, and appreciation.
