She has been a Licensed Therapist since 2013 and a Social Worker since 2006. In addition, she is currently a Clinical Certified Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS), and she has engaged in a variety of training since 2006 in the areas but not limited to Perinatal Mood Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety, Setting Healthy Boundaries, Depression, and Human Trafficking. Her mission is to, Empower Christian Leaders to Heal on Purpose for Their Purpose! Mrs. Torres is also a Speaker and Workshop Facilitator and speaks and teaches on a variety of topics related to Mental Health, Faith, and Human Trafficking. She is the owner of EmPowered2Shift Counseling Services. A Mental Health Practice that provides Christian Counseling to the Body of Christ. She is the creator and founder of Empowered Purpose Academy an Online academy that provides Christian Life Coaching Certification, Mentorship for Christian Leaders, Certify you to be a Christian Life Coach, and provides continuing education courses and certifications for Therapists and Life Coaches. She is also the Founder of Doing It for the Kingdom., INC a nonprofit whose mission is to provide education about human trafficking and provide rehabilitation services to victims and survivors. She is the Podcast Host of, Pain, Passion, and Purpose. A podcast that shares teachings about Mental Health and prophetic teachings from the Lord. She is the founder of the Faith and Mental Wellness Summit. A resource for the Body of Christ to include, Christian Leaders, Life Coaches, and Therapists can be educated on a variety of topics related to Mental Health and Faith.
