Autorenporträt

Jason Cockcroft is an author and illustrator. He was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and lives in Yorkshire, where he spent his childhood. Jason studied illustration at Falmouth School of Art, and has illustrated over fifty books for publishers including Bloomsbury, Hodder, OUP, Orchard Books, Walker Books and Frances Lincoln in the UK, and Henry Holt, Dutton Books, Alfred A Knopf and Margaret McElderry Books in the United States. He won the Blue Peter Book Award for his work on Geraldine McCaughrean's retelling of 'A Pilgrim's Progress'.
