Liesa Pringle was born in Griffith, Australia in 1970. She has written two other children's books that have been published in several countries. Liesa lives with her husband in sunny Queensland. She loves nature and feels inspired by her surroundings, spending her spare time photographing the world around her. As a teacher, her life's work has been educating and nurturing the minds of young children.
