Dawn O'Harra worked as a flight attendant for a small carrier and later moved to United. Any Landing is based on her experiences in the airline industry. She has her pilot's license, lives in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, and spent the bulk of her professional life as a science teacher.
