It's been so long that I forgot how elating the aromatic smell of new books can be, and as I wander near the espresso bar I realize I still can't decide which I prefer more: the smell of new books or fresh-brewed espresso, but there's no need to decide now because I'm basking in both at the bookstore.

David Demro was born and raised in Midlothian, Illinois. He enjoys writing, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new hobbies. He resides in Signal Mountain, Tennessee with his partner, Jessica, and their three sons: Damon, Declan, and Derek.David received Honorable Mention in Non-rhyming Poetry through Writer's Digest 91st Annual Writing Competition and is the author of two poetry books: Anywhere Imaginable and Confessions of a (Maybe) Heel Striker.
