Produktbeschreibung
Wil Brown, M.D., offers fresh insights into John's revelation of Jesus Christ and its application in everyday interpersonal relationships with God and others in Apocalypse Dawning. Beginning with the concept of the "great wonder" John saw "appear in the Heavens" and continuing through the Rapture of the saints, the author digs deep into real-world experiences and biblical events to explain the revelation through the lens of his personal, professional, and spiritual life as a student, soldier, and surgeon. The author expresses his frustration with sincere individuals who loudly proclaim they believe the Holy Bible to be the word of God but deny the word if it conflicts with their traditions or teachings. Whenever the author points out Scriptures to these very people, he is repeatedly told, "Well, I don't believe that!" The author's typical reply is, "Well, I didn't write it!" Readers will come away with a greater awareness of the presence of God based on the unveiling of the person of Jesus Christ and his church in the present day.
