Arkansas Knights is the story of some of the characters that influenced the state during the 1930's and 40's. These were the people who built the power groups and attitudes that gave us Governor Faubus, on the school house steps; Bill Clinton, Governor and President of The United States in later years. The book is fiction and any similarities between the characters and actual individuals is coincidental.

During 50 years after college, Bill Kinkade deliberately pursued experienced enriched jobs. He was a key field operator in two Presidential elections, 6 campaigns for Congress, and Chair of the only successful Write-in campaign for Congress. He spent one year as an investigator for a top Private Detective Agency in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was the lead investigator in two cases that sent 7 men to Federal Prison. In 1972 he did undercover work, investigating Vote Theft in Chicago. Working with the FBI and The US Attorney for Chicago his work resulted in many election judges being fired and what The Chicago Tribune reported, the day after, as "The Cleanest Elections in Chicago's history". His final project was with his wife, Sherri Adams where they built the largest Century 21 brokerage in the northwest employing 200+ real estate agents in Washington and Oregon. He and Sherri now live in their home on Green Mountain where they enjoy views of the Columbia River, Mt. Hood and the Cascade Mountains into Oregon.
