Autorenporträt
Medani P. Bhandari is an environmental and social scientist, educator, and humanitarian with over four decades of experience in sustainability, environmental policy, and social transformation. He has served as a Coordinating Lead Author for the United Nations Environment Programme's Global Environment Outlook (GEO-7) and as a Lead Author for the IPBES assessments. Dr. Bhandari has published over 100 scientific papers and 30 books, covering topics such as climate change, biodiversity, sustainable development, and social justice. His work bridges theory and practice, emphasizing compassion, equity, and global cooperation for a sustainable and just world. Currently, he is engaged in global research and teaching initiatives aimed at advancing transformative education, sustainability, and human well-being.
