Dr. Olive K. L. Woo, PsyD, is a licenced clinical psychologist with over a decade of clinical experiences in public settings. She is recognised as an associate fellow in Hong Kong Psychological Society and a fellow in Thanatology with the Association for Death Education and Counseling in the US. Olive has been serving as Honorary Clinical Supervisor at both the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she contributes her expertise to the development of future psychologists. In her clinical practice, she works across both psychiatric and medical settings, employing cognitive behavioural therapy and digital interventions to provide cutting-edge therapeutic support. Olive is the author of the book, DeepSeek and Mental Health Support Among Chinese Youth, and the guidebook, Virtual Reality Interventions for Patients under Palliative Care: A Practical Guide for Healthcare Professionals. She is also the founder of the evidence-based psychological intervention, Flourishing-Life-Of-Wish-Virtual Reality Therapy (FLOW-VRT®). She has authored peer-reviewed publications and has gained media coverage for her research.
