A darkly funny, nearly-sane chronicle of one man's journey through the absurdity of the COVID era. Artificial Monsters is a time capsule built from sarcasm, clarity, and the occasional AI-assisted eye roll. Randy Tharp didn't write it to help you heal - he wrote it so you'd know you weren't the only one paying attention.

Randy Tharp keeps the memories of his youth and formative years tucked away in Casper, Wyoming, where the seasons are distinct and the wind never takes a day off. He now resides in Texas, the state of his birth, where he's living out the post-formative years of life. He's been married for over 30 years, is the proud father of two grown children, grandfather to one endlessly curious grandson, and currently training Tonka-the family's recently adopted Weimaraner with boundless energy. By day, Randy works as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, where he spends his time navigating spreadsheets, meetings, and mastering the ancient corporate art of looking busy. Outside of work, he writes when he has something to say, reads when something grabs his interest, and updates his blog at Tharpster.Org whenever a topic won't leave him alone.
