Their swaying branches waved to her across the rolling ocean. "That island will be the perfect spot for our new home," her father announced. Hope bubbled in Ary's belly. Life on their last island hadn't been good for some time. She was worried they'd be searching forever. Ary's community have been searching for the perfect new home. And then they discover a lush, tree-covered paradise which seems perfect! But when nature takes a back seat to progress, the island's future is threatened. Can Ary and her friends save the trees before it's too late? Ary's Trees is an eco-parable about the importance of environmental preservation and activism and how one person can make a difference - even when others might not be ready to listen. Includes an author's note about the importance of trees.
