When Michelle's estranged mother dies, a forgotten jewelry box reveals neatly typewritten letters on rose stationary. They are deeply personal, painful, but unsigned. Drawn into the mystery of who wrote them and why her mother hid them, she's forced to confront the ghosts of a family torn apart. As her middle daughter-raw, defiant, and spiraling-stumbles upon the letters, the delicate balance begins to shift. Michelle must choose: keep the past locked away, or risk everything to heal what is broken. Yet the outcome is not hers alone to control, as her daughters each demand to be heard. But what will they decide? Will her girls end up like her sisters and her mother-barely speaking for years on end? Or will they find a way forward through the heartbreak that life brings? As the Dandelion Blooms is a stirring tale of what it means to fall apart-and fight to bloom anyway.
Autorenporträt
Author Ellen Pearson has been writing words of inspiration for many years-words that come straight from the heart. Her life has been shaped by walking alongside others through struggle and hope. She has spent 45 years as a nurse, comforting patients and families through their hardest moments. She has mothered a beautiful girl into womanhood, the caregiver of a mother with dementia, and the guardian of her autistic brother. She has fought breast cancer alongside her sister Nancy. While her battle ended, her sister's continues with what is now metastatic cancer. Nancy continues to inspire Ellen with her tenacity and strength. Ellen has known the heartbreak of divorce, the weight of financial hardship, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going. Today she lives with her partner Steve on the beautiful Northern California coast. Through it all, she has come to believe in the power of everyday miracles-the small, sacred moments that move us forward. Writing has always been her way of reaching out to others, offering encouragement and light to those who need to know they're not alone.
