This book delves into the critical issue of crowd violence and chaos during football events in public sports stadium in Ghana. Through a comprehensive mixed-methods research approach, the study explores the root causes of crowd violence, including poor architectural layouts, inexperienced security personnel, emotional fan behaviour, and poor officiating. The research highlights the importance of effective crowd management strategies, such as the deployment of veteran security personnel, fan education, the creation of multiple exit gates, and the use of Video Assistant Referees (VAR). The findings provide valuable insights for stadium management, security agencies, and football administrators to enhance safety and prevent future incidents of violence during football matches.
