In Rajasthan there are 36 types of snakes according to Sharma (2010). Snake rescue is considered as one of the best way for close observation to study any snake species, this is also an appropriate method to observe actual snake species found in human inhabit. 16 species including 6 families of snakes were observed from the Kota region and 12 species including 5 families were rescued from the Sirohi region.
