Yara Tarabay é uma licenciada em Gestão de Segurança Alimentar, apaixonada por Nutrição, Segurança Alimentar, Alívio da Pobreza e Desenvolvimento. Este livro foi baseado na sua tese de mestrado. Yara trabalha atualmente como Associada para a Determinação do Estatuto de Refugiado no Alto Comissariado das Nações Unidas para os Refugiados, no Líbano.
