Katy Byers has always been a writer at heart. For as long as memory can recall, the dream of telling compelling stories and inventing lovable characters has always been present. As life happens and dreams get sent to the wayside, writing has become a way to express those feelings that can be difficult to understand. Sometimes a good rhyme can make any problem seem smaller. And with that philosophy, Byers writes her first self-published book as a collection of poems in "At Least You Tried".
