Autorenporträt
Kris Erway's first job was in the Jerome, Idaho Public Library, where she used to sneak into the children's section to read the books. She earned a BA in English and an MBA at the University of Oregon and worked as a university administrator for 36 years. At the Odd Zoo is her first book. She started it after the final stanza popped into her head one day and completed it during a children's literature writing class. She is retired and lives in Alameda, California with her husband.
