On that day, Heather decided that she would have a Golden Retriever and help people like the therapy team helped her dad.Heather and Augie now visit with young and old alike. They visit people with and without disabilities to help them cope with the stresses of everyday life as well as encourage young readers to improve their skills and confidence. They both know that they are meant to work with all types of people to bring them joy and happiness.With original photos and stories about the real-life adventures of Augie the Therapy Doggie, Heather and Augie hope to entertain young readers and adults alike with stories that they will want to read again and again.
