Recently, it has been observed that the development of information technology has been assisting numerous practices in the health field, in activities such as diagnosis, therapy, management, and education, which requires changes and the development of new skills by professionals in the areas involved. In this field, Virtual and Augmented Reality (VAR), defined as the insertion of virtual objects into the physical environment, shown to the user in real time with the support of some technological device, has been bringing new possibilities for creation, modelling, visualisation, interaction and three-dimensional simulation of images, providing advanced interfaces capable of immersing the user in environments with which they can interact and explore. ARV is a typically multidisciplinary area that involves concepts from various segments, with applications in several specific areas or fields of economic, social and cultural life. By allowing more natural human-computer interaction in a three-dimensional (3D) environment and enabling the reproduction of real situations, it becomes a resource with broad potential.
