El Dr. Amol M. Kakde nació el 3 de diciembre de 1987 en la India. Se licenció en Agricultura por la VNMKV, Parbhani, y obtuvo un máster y un doctorado en Entomología Agrícola por el estado de Gujarat. Tiene experiencia como profesor adjunto y ha publicado numerosos artículos de investigación. Es miembro vitalicio de la Asociación de Protección Vegetal de Gujarat.
