The purpose of this work is to develop a prototype of home automation in order to provide security and access control to the resident. To this end, an access control was developed through an electronic gate and an alarm system which is active when a password is entered correctly. The alarm system consists of sensors and a random lighting of the lamps in order to simulate that the residents are present at the moment. If any detection occurs by the sensors and if the correct password is not entered in three attempts in a given time, a siren is activated. To deactivate the alarm, the system's master password must be entered. All system control is done by Arduino Mega2560.
