This book is about Autumn in Vermont and opens with: "Hot Summer nights, tempered by cool Autumn Days," and then progresses through the changes that fall brings, till the last words appear, "Autumn rains grudgingly turn into Winter snow."

Peter J. Manosh resides in Southwestern New Hampshire, but calls Vermont home. This poem was written on January 2, 2007, while the author was living in San Diego, California. It then took the author 10 years to find an illustrator who could bring his poetry to life. Peter J. Manosh was born in Morocco, North Africa, and has lived in England and Germany. He has also resided in New Hampshire, California, Oregon, Colorado, Michigan, and Vermont. He first started writing poetry in July 2006, after life-changing experiences made him think of how events and situations affect people. The author will be moving back to Vermont, where he spent his grade school through high school years, coming full circle after traveling the world and the United States, only to return to the place he calls home.
