Autorenporträt
About the Author Doug Basile has been in the financial services industry for more than two decades. While a career in finance was a departure from his liberal arts studies at West Virginia Wesleyan College, he places an extremely high value on the education that he received there. It was at Wesleyan that he first developed his love for writing and gained the experiences that became the genesis of this book. The original concept for the story was rooted more than twenty years ago, but he never felt the urge to write about it until a business trip to Washington DC prompted fond reflections that reinspired the idea. Doug is a fervent believer in the power of compounding. For this endeavor, walking every day and writing typically early in the morning helped crystalize his thoughts and foster the creative process. Doug was born and raised in Rocky River, Ohio and currently lives in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin with his wife Amy and two children, Avery and Vance.
