Autorenporträt
Jessie was a total city girl, being born and raised in New York City. Although this sounds like a dream for many, she was desperate to escape the "Concrete Jungle" and live a life in the countryside. There was something about the idea of growing her own healthy food that she couldn't ignore, so at 25, she moved to northern NY state. Her big picture desire was to grow her own food year round, but NY winters can be very harsh. It was then that greenhouse gardening became the next logical step. Following many trial and error attempts, Jessie did achieve her year round harvest success!11 years ago, she moved to the American Southwest and began to experiment with an entirely new climate. This time, heat, wind, and limited moisture were the challenges. Being exposed to drastically different climates has only expanded her skillset.Jessie has spent many years mastering her greenhouse & gardening passion. She has reached a stage in her life where she wants to share her experience.
