Comic artist cooklin explores big ideas like safety, belief, and honesty in funny and sneakily poignant panels, offering up what her own experiences of religion and atheism mean to her even as those meanings shift over time. Touching on topics from public prayer to small miracles, Bad Atheist is for anyone who has ever doubted their faith, struggled to find community, or felt the pressure to be perfect.

Autorenporträt
Caitlin Cook, also known as "cooklin," is a writer, journalist, and cartoonist based in Vancouver, Washington. Drawing from her own experiences and the input of others, she makes non-fiction comics about topics that are personally important to her and do not get enough attention in the mainstream. These topics include clinical depression, asexuality, and religious deconstruction, all told with a deliberate blend of humor and sentimentality and propped up by her deceivingly simple drawing style. She is originally from the Midwest and loves cats, movies, and internet culture.
