Richard Chartrand is a retired engineer with a long-standing interest in finance, cybercrime, and travel. These interests, plus a lifelong love of noir crime fiction, inspired him to embark on the Bad Karma series. Richard Chartrand grew up on a dairy farm in the Ottawa Valley that he calls "paradise," but his engineering career has taken him across North America and Australia. He has two grown-up children and now lives in Toronto with his cat, Babette. He is already planning another sequel to his thrilling story of the Jennings avengers.
