Iris Bahr wurde in New York geboren und wuchs in der Bronx auf. Als sie zwölf war, zog sie mit ihrer Mutter nach Israel, wo sie ihre Wehrpflicht absolvierte. Nach ihrem Studium an der Brown University in den USA begann sie ihre Karriere als erfolgreiche Schauspielerin und Komikerin (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry the Cable Guy, Star Trek, King of Queens). Iris Bahr lebt derzeit in Los Angeles.
