Banished Book 1: Awakening is L Higginson's first published novel. Before pursuing her dream of making writing her full-time career, Liezel was a draughtsman in the mechanical and Structural steel industry for many years. When she's not writing, she loves to read. Her favourite authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz, James Patterson, Melanie Rawn and Jim Butcher.
