Everyone agrees that baptism is part of Christianity, right? It says so in the Bible. Not so fast. Among different Christian groups, questions and arguments about baptism abound. Who should get baptized? How should it be done? What happens to unbaptized babies when they die, and should people secretly baptize their grandchildren? And on top of all this--why bother with baptism at all? Does it really do anything? In Baptism Now Saves You, Karlo Broussard tackles these thorny questions and reveals who has the right answer. The bottom line: yes, we need baptism to get into heaven, and the Catholic Church provides the proper instruction, the history, and the arguments to back up its answer. For believers and nonbelievers alike, Baptism Now Saves You is the go-to source for understanding this ancient and essential practice--and for explaining it to friends and loved ones. At its foundation is the life-giving exhortation of St. Peter: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you."
