Kazi Kutubuddin Sayyad Liyakat est titulaire d'un B.E., d'un M.E. et d'un Ph.D. en ingénierie E&TC et d'un post-doctorat en "IoT in Healthcare Applications", et travaille actuellement en tant que professeur et chef de département, département E&TC, et a été doyen de la R&D. Son domaine d'intérêt est l'IoT, l'IoRT, l'IoBT, l'IA, la ML et l'AIIoT. Il a proposé les approches KSK, KVS et KK.
