This is a book I wrote personally for our Granddaughter and her friends in their neighborhood. When others saw it, they encouraged me to publish it because they felt it was unique and had a very positive, respectful message for kids as well as adults to remember. "If You Wanna Have Friends, You Gotta Be A Friend". My hope is that all who read this book take a moment to think about how each of us could make a difference through acceptance, forgiveness and kindness.

Autorenporträt
I live in Oregon and was inspired to write this book when I returned home from visiting my daughter and granddaughter, who lived in Florida. It was very interesting to observe the personality dynamics of all the three and four-yea rold "little" friends in their neighborhood. It started out as a very simple solution, easy for each child to think about and remember. Before I knew it, it became contagious... "If you wanna have friends, you gotta be a friend." It's so simple, but the impact and pride of these little people who actually could see resolve in their "tiffs" if they remembered this simple rule.I have always been very sensitive to kids (and adults) who are bullied and those who expect to be treated in a way that they are not willing to treat others. My goal is to encourage children of all ages to be kind and respectful to every person they meet. We are all different, but what a difference we could each make if we treated others the way we want to be treated.
