I was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, in 1962. On my first birthday, we moved to Chicago, Illinois. We returned home to Puerto Rico when I was 10.In the summer of 1971, my parents moved back to Puerto Rico, where I lived for only 10 years. The 70s was the worst decade of my life, I suffered untold horror through the pages of this book.
