Once upon a time - While hitch-hiking around the country, I was looking for all the right answers and searching for a home. I found myself island hopping and became an Island Girl. Traveling from the South onto the North, I reached the far corner of the Earth. It's been over 30 years since I lived in mainland America. Now I sell booze and beer at a bar that's over 100 years old. My customers are people from all over the world. They have asked me to write them poems of soldiers, sailors and cowboys and a little bit of love and war. I've also written some poetry for myself when I was wandering and realizing. Sometimes, after the night shift was over, I would go home a write a poem for the sake of philosophy and each time it was - BEFORE THE DAWN.
