Erin Sponaugle is the art teacher at Tomahawk Intermediate School in Hedgesville, West Virginia. She has taught third, fourth, and fifth grade students all of her nearly 20 years in the classroom. Erin is a National Board Certified Teacher and a graduate of Shepherd University and West Virginia University. She is the 2014 West Virginia Teacher of the Year, an experience that became the basis for the Berkeley the Bear books. Her favorite things to do in her spare time are read, write, and draw!
