Thomas Hofer studierte Kommunikationswissenschaft und Anglistik in Wien und als Fulbright-Stipendiat Wahlkampfmanagement und Public Affairs an der Graduate School of Political Management in Washington, D.C. Zunächst Innenpolitik-Redakteur beim "profil", ist er heute Politikberater, Tv-Politikexperte und geschäftsführender Gesellschafter von H&P Public Affairs in Wien. Zahlreiche Buchveröffentlichungen zur politischen Landschaft in Österreich und den USA.
