Drawn from a mix of real love stories the author encountered during years of clinical hypno-psychoanalysis, along with events imagined to heighten the mystery, Between Eros blends romance, adventure, humor and danger. It also carries a quiet therapeutic thread running beneath the action. Aris has spent years chasing the ancient Love Secret, a millennia-old key said to reveal how to make anyone fall in love. His search pulls him across the Atlantic and into the path of mobs, occult forces and the darker corners of human nature. As the risks grow sharper, his faith in love is pushed to its limits. Just when Aris begins to doubt everything he has been searching for, he meets Angelica and feels something he thought was lost for good: genuine, mutual love. Neither of them realizes how close the shadows still are. Their bond awakens forces determined to tear them apart, setting the stage for a battle between forbidden love and the threats waiting to destroy it. The question remains: can their love survive the trials ahead, or will the very secret Aris seeks become the danger that consumes them both?
Chris Neo was born in Cyprus and later moved to the UK. After earning a degree in economics, he trained in Hypno-Psychoanalysis and practiced in London clinics, including Harley Street. His work with patients gave him deep insight into the mysteries of the human heart, soul, and the many ways people experience emotional pain.Through his clinical practice, Chris discovered that many psychological struggles are not rooted in sex, as Freud suggested, but in love. Left unresolved, these struggles can affect anyone. Driven to share what he learned, he turned to writing. To hone his craft, he studied the great storytellers of the past and present, from Aristotle to Campbell, Vogler, McKenna, and masters of dialogue.Blending true clinical experiences with action, drama, joy, and humor, Chris created the Love Secret series, where the protagonist searches for both true love and the hidden key to making anyone fall in love. He later followed it with Assassin's Love, a novella that continues his exploration of love in all its forms.
