Beyond the Horizon features intrigue aplenty in three separate challenging quests, each starting in Australia but sending our characters overseas - often far away - as they strive to fulfil their demanding goals. Into Thin Air takes high school teacher Alex Deverell to the other side of the globe for a school reunion, where he quickly plunges into a frantic search to solve the shocking mystery disappearance of one of his teenage students twenty-five years before. With Surf Break, Private Investigator Gary Bishop's bid to help a financially-troubled deserted wife soon translates into an undercover operation confronting high-level embezzlement and deceit foisted on one of our closest neighbours. Retribution sees government security officers Joshua and Rachael Kovacs, hot on the trail of a massive terrorist plot, jet across the Pacific Ocean as they pull out all stops to bring a ruthless gang of international criminals to justice. How can such desperate quests possibly succeed, with all the odds stacked against them?
