L.K. Walker is a Chemistry teacher, a bushwalker and - now - an author. She has lived on Awabakal Country for most of her life, after emigrating from Wales as a child. L.K. loves the Australian Bush and has spent a great deal of time exploring and enjoying the National Parks and wilderness areas of Australia. She has written the 'Big Boots' Series to share her love of Country with her grandchildren, to tell them about her adventures and to inspire them to spend time in the beauty of the Australian bush.
