Brian Gravestock was born in Harpenden in 1963 in the worst winter ever recorded. He attended Manland Primary School from 1968 1972 until his family moved to Clydebank, Scotland. After three years, approximately, his family moved back to England to Rushden, Northamptonshire, where he attended Rushden Boys Camp, but left with no qualifications. He started working in shoe factories before becoming a paralegal and an author of children s books.
