Profesor del IFPE - Campus de Vitória de Santo Antão. Doctor y Máster en Agronomía (Edafología) e Ingeniero Agrónomo por la UFRPE. Técnico Agrónomo por la EAF de Vitória de Santo Antão. Tiene experiencia en Agronomía, con énfasis en Edafología, trabajando con nutrición mineral vegetal y fertilidad del suelo.
