Giuseppe Civitarese, psychiatrist, PhD in psychiatry and relational sciences, is a training and supervising analyst in the Italian Psychoanalytic Society (SPI), and a member of the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA) and of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA). Previous work includes, The Intimate Room: Theory and Technique of the Analytic Field, The Violence of Emotions: Bion and post-Bionian Psychoanalysis, Truth and the Unconscious in Psychoanalysis and, with co-author Howard Levine ,The W.
