In the tranquil Australian outback town of Blackwattle, childhood friends Bill and Mick find their lives forever altered by a love triangle and the irredeemable arson that destroys the town's historical structures. Murder, love, betrayal, and a mining incursion onto sacred Aboriginal land set the stage for the downward spiral of this once peaceful community. The turmoil threatens the reputations, livelihoods, and bonds of each of the town's residents, unraveling the fabric of Blackwattle itself.

Autorenporträt
David's inspiration to write comes largely from his love and respect for the natural environment. Knowledge gained from extensive travel and work abroad, combined with his desire to explore his home country, Australia, has supported his imaginative approach towards creating a diverse range of prose and poetry. His poetic metre and storyline style is influenced by poets such as A. B. Banjo Paterson's The Man from Snowy River and The Geebung Polo Club and Samuel Taylor Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
