Saba Mushtaq se licenció en Ingeniería Electrónica y de Comunicaciones por la Universidad de Cachemira (India) en 2008. En 2012 obtuvo un máster en Tecnología de la Información por el Instituto Nacional de Tecnología de Srinagar (India). Actualmente cursa estudios de doctorado en el NIT Srinagar. Sus áreas de interés son la imagen forense y la biométrica.
