Angela Balgobin is the author and illustrator behind Angie Whimsy Heart Books, a collection of gentle, meaningful stories that nurture kindness, empathy, and a strong sense of belonging. As an educator in public education for over 14 years, Angie draws inspiration from her diverse classroom experiences and her own healing journey to create books that speak to the hearts of children and the grown-ups who care for them. Her titles include Blooms of Our Friendship, Eva's Only Wish, and My Heart Is Filled When each one is written to uplift, comfort, and remind every child that they are seen, valued, and loved. When she's not in the classroom, Angela finds joy in illustrating, spending quiet moments in nature, and creating stories that help little hearts feel loved, safe, and celebrated.
