Marylee MacDonald is the author of Surrender, Bonds of Love and Blood, Body Language, The Rug Bazaar, and The Big Book of Small Presses and Independent Publishers. Her novels, memoirs, and short stories have won the Wishing Shelf Book Award, a Gold Medal for Drama from Readers' Favorites International Book Awards, the Jeanne M. Leiby Chapbook Award, the Ron Rash Award, the American Literary Review Fiction Prize, and many more. She has taught writing and editing for the Piper Center for Creative Writing at Arizona State University and been a Writer in Residence for the City of Mesa Public Libraries.
