Autorenporträt
Dawn Nelson is the author of five books and co-producer of several award-winning videos. Completing a two-year graduate school certification course in "Awakening to Life and Death" in 1989-90 inspired Dawn to create the COMPASSIONATE TOUCH for Those in Later Life StagesTM program, which led to world-wide recognition as a speaker, author and touch educator. Dawn also has extensive experience in leading and helping facilitate three-day and longer residential meditation retreats as well as helping train others to give them. With the exception of an eight-month sojourn in Switzerland, Dawn and her husband have resided in the California Bay Area for close to fifty years. Now retired from teaching, Dawn continues to write, deepen her meditative practices and spend time as often as possible with her adult children, grandchildren, and several grand- dogs.
