She has had a distinguished academic career and continues to work as a consultant, specializing in leadership and organizational change, working with companies around the world to build strong, emotionally intelligent leadership and innovative and resilient work cultures. Among her clients are Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft and Google. She is the author of two bestselling books Flourishing, about how to achieve a deeper sense of well-being, meaning and purpose, and Your One Wild and Precious Life, a guide to becoming your best self at any age. She lives in Dublin.
